This was too much fun! Thanks to our friends at York Place, who granted us rooftop access to film this, we have a bird’s eye view of the City Market, starting at 6:00 a.m. I just couldn’t get there super, duper early to capture the entire set up, which really starts around 5:00 a.m. (Remember that next time you’re stumbling, crusty-eyed, into market at 9:15 to get your coffee!) Notice this morning a little pandemonium, created by a vendor’s truck breaking down while unloading -- just in front of the building on the left -- first towtruck arrived (around :30), and didn’t have the proper tools to handle the job, so they sent in a different wrecker (1:03), who hitched it up, and BACKED it out of the market. I, for one, am impressed! Thanks to all the vendors and shoppers for their patience and cooperation, and thank you, Lucy, for keeping the market running as smoothly as possible at o’dark thirty!
