Farm Description:  Innisfree Village is a residential, lifesharing community with adults who have an intellectual disability. Residents and volunteers live and work together on a 550-acre farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Charlottesville, Virginia.  Our emphasis on the value of work, as well as responsible land stewardship is reflected in the healthy food we grow/raise and the quality of the crafts we produce. Innisfree Community Gardens currently offers a 50 family CSA. A small herd of cows provides beef for Innisfree’s residential houses, and more than 200 chickens produce eggs for our pastured egg business.  The Innisfree Farm is currently also exploring an environmental services model for farming including mitigation banking and carbon sequestration projects.

Guided tours at 10am, 11:30am, and 2pm
